Pen of the Dreamer Guest Blogger Guidelines 

for “Tuesday Tales on the Ranch”:

If you’re interested in a Tuesday guest spot email me on my contact page “Say Hey” or at calisa (dot) rhose (at) gmail (dot) com. I offer three formats, head pics are optional for all. Up to 3 jpgs. Have all material to me no less than three days (five days for interviews) before your guest spot on Pen of the Dreamer (a.k.a. Dream Ranch/a.k.a. The ranch) to give me time to set it up. All posts go live at 6 a.m. US-CMT unless technical issues prevent a post being scheduled ahead of time. Then it will be posted no later than 9 a.m. US-CMT. If you would like it scheduled according to time zone differences, please let me know.

 

Formats:

1. Promo post- cover art, author pic, bio, blurb, excerpt, contact/buy links and a small post by the author to personalize it. (This can be a couple of paragraphs about the creation of the book, what you like about book/characters, etc, just so the post isn’t simply a -my book, buy it here- promo.)

2. Topic post- you pick a topic and write it. Send author bio/pic/cover art, links

3. Interview- send author bio/pic, contact/buy links. I can provide questions for you to choose from/answer, or you can use your own.

For all formats please list your book title to be promoted and if you’ll be offering free copies.

With any format I suggest you come back often to your post and respond to individual comments. The commenters take time from their day to check you out and I feel it’s only right that my guests can take as much time as you can in return to show them your appreciation.

** I prefer not to schedule interview or promo posts (other than those pre-scheduled before I had a release date) during December 2011-late January because of my first overwhelming book release/blog tour the last two weeks of that month, first of the next. I will host Promo and Topic posts during this time.**
